Education Philosophy
Magnet Prep
Children learn best through play. Play is a natural way for children to explore and make sense of the world around them. It helps them develop important skills such as problem-solving, creativity, and social emotional . As parents and educators, we can support children's learning by providing them with opportunities for play and encouraging them to follow their interests and curiosity.
Our curriculum has a strong focus that is aligned with Louisiana's Magnet Programs utilizing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). This is an interdisciplinary approach to education that integrates these four subjects to create a cohesive learning experience. STEM education is designed to prepare students for the future developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Our goal at Excel is to provide your child with the skills for them to be successful moving forward into the kindergarten of your choice.
